Odreck Zinyeka 

Odreck, born on August 25th, 1986, at Musami Mission Hospital in the Gokwe Midlands province of Zimbabwe, is the seventh child in a family of seven boys and four girls. He attended Mvumvudze Primary School and Sumbe Secondary School in the rural area of Gokwe, Nembudziya.

In the year 2000, Odreck embarked on his artistic journey at Tsindi Gallery, where he received guidance from his brother Thomas Zinyeka. Thomas, who had acquired artistic skills from their eldest sibling, became highly proficient in the field. Odreck collaborated with his brother for a decade before venturing out on his own. Today, Odreck is an experienced and self-reliant artist who employs various types of stones in his creations.

His artwork has been showcased in several galleries, including the National Art Gallery of Zimbabwe, and has garnered international recognition. Odreck holds his brothers in high esteem and credits them for imparting their artistic expertise to him. His objective is to inspire the upcoming generation of artists and continue crafting artwork that fulfills the expectations of art enthusiasts worldwide.
