Taurai Chinofura
Taurai Chinofura, born in Zimbabwe, is a talented artist hailing from a family of five siblings. With a passion for art that started during his primary education at Resthavean Primary School in Domboshava, Taurai joined the art and crafts movement at a young age, exploring wire toy-making and drawing various subjects.

His interest in drawing people and animals using pencil and paints led him to venture into stone carving in 2008 under the guidance of Wahsington Musonza. Through Washington's tutelage, Taurai honed his skills in working with diverse stone types such as Springstone, Cobalt, Opal, and more. He mastered the creation of figures, birds, and abstract sculptures, drawing inspiration from the teachings and ideas of his late brother, Robert Chinofura, who was also an artist.

Today, Taurai's artistic journey continues to evolve, showcasing his talent and creativity through his exceptional stone sculptures.
