Matungamidze. G embarked on his artistic journey as a stone sculptor, receiving invaluable guidance from his late uncle, the renowned second-generation sculptor Glad Man Zinyeka, until his passing in 2000.

 

Specializing in abstract sculptures, Matungamidze has established himself as a master in the art of creating captivating head abstracts.

 

Born in Gutu, Zimbabwe, in 1976, Matungamidze's passion for art was ignited during his time at a secondary school in Gutu, where he developed a keen interest in technical subjects, including art.

 

Determined to pursue his artistic aspirations, he relocated to Harare and began his artistic career alongside his late uncle, Gladman Zinyeka.

Today, Matungamidze has emerged as a dedicated full-time sculptor, leaving an indelible mark on the global art scene. His exceptional works have been acquired by collectors from around the world, while his talent has been showcased in numerous prestigious exhibitions throughout his illustrious career.
