Stewart Chapenga

Stewart Chapenga was born in 1983 in Guruve, Zimbabwe. He did his primary at Chifamba primary and secondary level at Chifamba High.

At the age of seventeen, he started to assist his talented brothers Casten, Donald, and Tavengwa Chapenga. They were the ones who inspired him to develop his own style of sculpting.

In 2006 he decided to work in Hatfield Harare. He sells his works all over the, and he does exhibitions online.

 

Stewart is inspired by the mystery of daily life, and he is also a good observer of human movements and the nature of the world. His sculptures often are of an abstract nature.
